This Week at Spring Street: Reptile Hunts, Habitat Building and Letters

Hello, families! I hope you are all safe and healthy!

Last week we spent a lot of time taking advantage of the weather (and considering

this week’s weather, I’m glad we did!). The children took part in a ‘reptile’ hunt (I

hid reptiles and dinos in the nature playground), made a habitat in the wagon, spent

a lot of time playing dragons and digging in sand, practiced letter recognition, used

cars to paint with (!), shared journal stories, and lots more!

We will finish up the mural and reptile/amphibian unit next week and see where the

children’s interests take us next!
